The American Mensa Annual Gathering started as a small, two-day meet-and-greet at the New York Belmont in 1963. The event now spans five days and features a sprawl of talks, games, and entertainment unlike any other.

We have a fantastic party in the works for Annual Gathering 2025, July 2 - 6! Chicago is a revolution of creativity, music, food, art, and spirit … and we get to enjoy it all week! Come see all your friends and perhaps make a few new ones. Trust us, this AG is going to be lit!

 

Registration Rates

A 10 percent processing fee will be charged for cancellation and refund requests through May 31, 2025. Refund and cancellation requests received after May 31 will be reviewed case by case, based on circumstance and event viability. Registration rates are nontransferable. Join us for the Annual Gathering Gala Dinner, an entertaining evening filled with food, friends, and this year's special guest speaker, New York Times bestselling author and legendary Jeopardy! host and champion, Ken Jennings. In his Gala Dinner keynote, Artificial Intelligence: Are Humans in Jeopardy?, Jennings will reflect on the rise of AI — an evolution he’s witnessed firsthand, having famously faced off against IBM’s Watson in a groundbreaking 2011 match.

A Family-friendly Adventure

Sponsored by the Mensa Foundation, Spark! programming offers our youngest attendees the chance to have fun experiences, build new friendships, and make lasting memories. Spark! comprises three days of structured programming for children ages 4-12 divided into three age groups, enabling children to have their own AG adventure! (Registration for Spark! must be completed in addition to AG registration.)
